
Dr. Katarzyna Grebosz-Haring
Priv.-Doz. Dr. Katarzyna Grebosz-Haring is a systematic musicologist and Senior Scientist at the Inter-University Institution Science and Art (W&K) of the University of Salzburg and the Mozarteum University Salzburg. She is co-founder and co-director of the Salzburg Institute for Arts in Medicine (SIAM) and co-chair of the International Network for the Critical Appraisal of Arts and Health Research (INCAAHR).
At W&K, she initiated and led two research programs and established the interdisciplinary focus area Music and Medicine. Her research centers on the psychophysiological, social-psychological, and aesthetic dimensions of music and art, with a particular emphasis on vulnerable groups such as children, adolescents, and older adults with neurodegenerative diseases. She also critically examines the methodologies and interpretations in research on music, art, and health. Dr. Grebosz-Haring is a Fellow of the Salzburg Global Health Program.
